Most Japanese drink oolong tea, barley tea, juice and so on. And so, I compare oolong tea and barley tea. Please consult this theme for Hot Summer.

Round 1 ~HISTORY~

Barley:

There is very old about the relationship between barleycorns and human. About 13000 years ago from now, barleycorn was grown at birthplace of ancient civilization such as Iran, Iraq, and the Indus and so on.
In Japan, about 2500 years ago from now, the Jomon Period, it came down as cultivated plant. And it spread throughout. Japan had custom roast barleycorn. It says that feudal warlord loved to drink barley tea. Barley tea is belly wash to make using barleycorn seed. Barleycorn is decoction. It is called “Mugiyu”. Actually, barley tea doesn’t use tea. So technically, it’s not tea. Barley tea doesn’t have containing caffeine. So baby can drink it. It is known as to have health effect that improves the flow of blood. People who live some area drink it that put in salt or sugar.

Oolong tea:
A long long time ago, china had custom to make emperor a present of best tea. And time of Ming. People thought about we want to make emperor a present of more good aromatic tea. Then they tried various measures. As a result, we made Oolong tea which is half fermented tea. Oolong tea write in Kanji, “烏龍茶”. It is told that “龍” means emperor.

People around the world enjoy many different kinds of teas. But all these teas are made from the leaf of the same tea plant (which originated in China and belongs to the camellia family) Oolong is a semi-fermented tea. Even though the raw ingredient is the same, different teas are produced by different production methods, namely the difference in the extent of fermentation. Unfermented (green) tea is produced without fermenting the leaves; semi-fermented (oolong) tea is made by fermenting the leaves to some extent; while fermented (black) tea is made by fermenting the leaves fully. Oolong tea make from these deep labor hour, skill, experience.

Round 2 ~healthy feeling~

Barley tea:

Barley tea is nature drink, because it isn’t added to artificial preservative and sweet- tasting substance. And it don’have strong substance such as tannin, caffeine and so on. So, mother can give her baby to drink it. In recently, barley tea has important power of our healthy. It is demonstrated by science. If you drink it, your blood is healthy. In other words, it helps blood travel through veins smoothly. It is pyrazine. It prevents high blood and arterial sclerosis. Barley tea promotes the circulation of blood.

Oolong tea:

Generically, it says that oolong tea is known as help assimilate and to move stomach. And it has many healthy feelings.However oolong tea has many good healthy feelings. Oolong tea has great taste and spicy. Oolong tea is half fermented tea. Oolong tea has many substances that caffeine, tannin, vitamin C and so on. And oolong tea has also saponin. Saponin degrades oil content.
It also says that oolong tea prevent metabolic syndrome.

Round 3 ~sort~

Barley:

Barley tea usually use barleycorn. Barleycorn has 2 sorts, two-rowed barley and six-rowed barley. Two-rowed barley is called tow-rowed barley tea. Six-rowed barley is called six-rowed barley tea. In Chain, there is four-rowed barley, too.

Oolong tea:

Oolong tea has so many sorts. Very good taste oolong tea made in Taiwan. Today I introduce you 4 kinds of oolong tea.
First is Seigan tea. It’s like Romanee Conti. I mean it is very expensive. Now the tea tree that this tea is produced has only four of them. And, people can adopt only 4 kilos a year from the tree, Recently, a kind of oolong tea is very popular. It is kouzan tea. I don’t know why it is very popular. But it is very popular.
Third is hosyu tea. This tea is light blue color. This tea is liked by a woman. However, most popular by young woman is jasmine tea. I like it. It is good smell.

I compared barley tea and oolong tea. I prefer oolong tea or barley tea. Barley tea has good smell and not acrid.

I think oolong tea is a little acrid, but I live oolong tea, because oolong tea has many and good healthy feelings. My mother always says that oolong tea is very good for our body. So I think oolong tea is good more than barley tea.

The 3 ways to destroy the earth

We are destroying the earth before we know it. It is important problem for us to destroy the earth. Because it may threaten our's survival If we don’t get a handle on a problem when it's small, we will destroy ourselves, who are prepetrator.

1 global warming
The present situation of global warming is serious problem. Global warming is phenomenon that to rise the average temperature the earth. The casus is to increase CO2 in the atmosphere. Heat-trapping gases are predisposed to stock up heat. So to increase the heat-trapping gases mean that the earth is set in big greenhouse.
CO2 account for a large share of heat-trapping gases is produced by electicity, gas, gasoline and so on that we use it.
The half of amount of emission CO2 in Japan relates closely our house. We can stop the global warming to conserve brownout, energy saving and so on in our life.If you decrease CO2 with your family you can enjoy to do decrease CO2. We have to try to stop this global warming trend.

2 deforestation
Deforestation is to decrease resource. One of the factors of environmental disruption is deforestation.
What should we do to protect nature? Environmental groups search condition forest on the globe. And the result of search, forest disappeared by 60% as compared with 80 centuries ago. This percentage is really amazing. As result of further investigations, if we continue to cut, it predict that forest is completely gone. We have to protect forest. And we have to important resource.

Now, forest is cutting by human What should we do to protect forest? If forests disappear on the globe, groundwater polluted. Forest clean the air, and clean landed. And forests also producewash. If forests disappear on the globe we will get in a bind. Resource is very important, so we should important it.

3 ozone depletion
The ozone layer which protects the earth from ultraviolet rays is destroying by human.
There is the ozone layer to 20-30km above the ground. There is only about 3mm, 1 atomosphere pressure thickness when I bring it on the ground. For example it is a thing such as the curtain of the race. It protects everything above the ground from ultraviolet rays. We are going to destroy it. It is ozone depletion.
If the ozone layer is destroyed, what kind of thing will happen? The ozone layer cuts ultraviolet rays included in solar sunlight. When it is the harmful ultraviolet rays directly, it is easy to come to suffer from viral diseases such as a skin cancer and a cataract, loss of eyesight, the AIDS by the immunity fall. Besides, the gene (DNA) of the creature cell has influence. Now people suffering from a skin cancer and a cataract increase all over the world. And it increases to 7 times in Japan .

What should we do to protect the ozone layer? The products of non-Freon increase now. We must think to buy the product which is kind to the global environment. And the developer does not sell the thing not to be good for a global environment and our body again; should not make it. I will do what we can do well not to destroy the ozone layer more than this. It is our role.

There are many supermarkets in Hiroshima. FRESTA is one of those supermarkets.
FRESTA is Hiroshima-based Company. It is established in Hiroshima in 1951. Today FRESTA has about 50 stores. So maybe you have seen FRESTA. Today I introduce you about FRESTA. For your information, I work at FRESTA now.


First, I’m talking about name of FRESTA. FRESTA consist of six words. F is friendly. R is relation. E is ecology. S is safety. T is tasty. A is amenity. These words are standards of conduct for people who work at FRESTA. Before I start to work, I always say standards of conduct. I stir myself. FRESTA also has buzzword. I LOVE THIS BUZZWORD.
Especially, stores that recently build, FRESTA have many hang-ups. The store’s layout is different in all stores, but many of stores are felt posh. And there are many booths in store. For example DEMO KITCHEN, JUICEBAR and so on. Demo Kitchen is place to suggestion about recipe. Maybe it is useful for people who make cook everyday. Juice bar is place to sell fresh-squeezed juice. I think maybe children enjoy this place. There are place that you can take rest.

　FRESTA imitates American supermarket. FRESTA imitates not only ambient atmosphere in the supermarket but also how to put vegetables. FRESTA has a lot of chance to go to America. Before new employees who wishes to have any induction course enter the company, they can go to America. And training of store manager is doing America. Because my store manager has to gain on-the-job training he went to America last month, too.


　Some people know about FRESTA’s food is a little expensive. Because FRESTA think that food quality is very important. So FRESTA’s food is a little expensive. Then FRESTA has own brand. It is called Bimi Smile. I think that this is a little cheap.


　FRESTA has about 50 stores. FRESTA is community-based store. I want to meet local new sense of values to demand from now on while I cope with the change of the lifestyle to spread from there while assuming a thing called "the appetite" a core, and having street-credibility.

~SURFING~

One of my hobbies is surfing. When I was high school student, I started surfing. Last year, I spent a lot of time in the sea with my friends. I am a bad surfer, but I always enjoyed surfing. I think that it is so interesting sport. So, I introduce you about surfing.

I’m talking about history of surfing. People who invented surfing for the first time are Polynesian; they lived Hawaii. At least, in A.D. 400, surfing started in Hawaii. So history of surfing is very long. Surf-board is concerned with life-style of Polynesian. Please read this web site. According to this link, one of the fishery skills became surfing. The man who found surfing for the first time is James Cook in Hawaii. He is a British. Afterward, history of surfing had many problems. However, the reason that surfing is population may be so exciting sports.

Next I’m talking about places that play surfing in Japan. In Japan, Shounan, Shirahama and Arahama are famous places. Especially Shounan is very famous place. I think that many of surfers want to go to Shounan. I love Shounan, but Shounan is far from Hiroshima, so I still went to Shounan twice. I want to go to Shounan in this summer.

I’m talking about places at Chugoku-region that plays surfing. I live in Hiroshima, so I always play surfing at Chugoku-region. My favorite places are Hashi, Hamada, Nijigahama, and so on. Especially, I often go to Hashi and Hamada. These are Shimane prefecture. This is my favorite web site. I think that these places are famous in Chugoku-region by surfers who live in Chugoku-region. When I go to there, I always think that there places are nice view and very beautiful sea. I’d love for you to go to there.

Next I’m talking about places that play surfing in the world. I have a dream. It is to play surfing in Hawaii or Guam. Many of surfers may want to play surfing in the world. I love Hawaii and Guam. I have been to Hawaii, but I never been to Guam. When I was a high school student, I went to Hawaii. So, I didn’t play surfing. Maybe, everyone knows that Hawaii and Guam are famous places that play surfing. Hawaii is birthplace the surfing. I think that the reasons why many of surfers want to go to Hawaii, Guam, and so on are high wave, beautiful sea, and so on. When I went to Hawaii, I thought that wave is very high. Many of surfers may want to go to there, because there are high wave.
